Just in time for the 2011 Big Smoke in New York City on November 30th, Montecristo, one of the most well-known cigars in the world, has released a special New York Connoisseur Edition in honor of one the most famous and exciting cities in the world.
This cigar is finished with a gorgeous Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and a unique Montecristo blend of Dominican fillers that makes for a “luxurious smoke that is rich, complex and deeply satisfying.”
The Montecristo New York is a attractive looking 60 x 6” box-pressed cigar, blended at the esteemed Tabacalera de Garcia, and packaged in a sleek and contemporary cigar box that perfectly captures the spirit and style of the city that never sleeps. The box is highlighted by a beautiful minimal line drawing of the famous New York skyline that pops nicely off the glossy black finish of the wood.
Personally, I have yet to try this exquisite-looking cigar but I can’t wait to get my hands on one and review it for you. They look amazing. The Montecristo New York started hitting retailers in New York last week and are only available in the city for around $14 a cigar.

The new Montecristo New York is superb and since its not a limited addition it should take it rightful place among some of the worlds finest cigars. Well done!
