H. Upmann Long Ash Contests

A long ash is a sign of a well-made cigar. Confident in its construction, the new H. Upmann 1844 Reserve is putting its money where its mouth is, by holding long ash contests at tobacconists nationwide.

Participants light their Upmann, smoke it down and try to have the longest ash at the end of the night. So far winning ashes have been around the five-inch mark.

Now, Cigar Aficionado is getting in on the action and upping the ante by offering two tickets to the Las Vegas or New York Big Smoke, as well as a feature in a Cigar Aficionado H. Upmann ad.
